Here is my list for that stuff:

A big one for me would be the option to paste without formatting - or more specifically, paste things from Microsoft word and one note without it pasting as an image. I have to use Word a lot so it’s really annoying that I can’t copy things into anytype easily. And, I want to move all my notes from one note to Anytype too. It would be amazing if you could preserve headings, bold / italics, bullets, highlight colors etc between Microsoft apps and Anytype but pasting without formatting would be a good start

Also, indenting (and undenting) bullets on android would be really good too. At the moment, I don’t think it’s possible (unless I just don’t know how to do it). Btw, Upnote handles this quite well if you need some inspiration.

And thirdly, when batch editing, I want to, for example, add a tag to all the objects but still keep the tags that were there before. At the moment, it deletes all the preexisting tags and replaces them with the new tag

And I also wish I could import things easier. I have loads of notes in capacities and onenote that I want to move to anytype. Maybe some better documentation would help with this but I couldn’t work out how to do it very easily. I managed to get the titles of the notes imported but not the content or the tags. Combine this with things not pasting properly (like I mentioned above), and it’s a real pain.

I would love a preview of the content in gallery view (like capacities ). I use anytype to manage ideas and the titles alone are not always explicit enough to just see at a glance what object is what. With this view in capacities, it’s really nice to be able to see everything. It makes it all seem much more accessible and immediate

It doesn’t always use the default template for an object. E.g. sometimes it will use the original basic version and not the template you’ve created for that object. I can’t remember the other instances it does this (but there are some), but in particular, when you create a bookmark it doesn’t use the template version.

I’ve always thought the process of creating an object / template / set / relations / views really convoluted and overly complicated. You create a new object, then you have to add the relations to it in the library, then you have to create a set of the object, then you have to make a new relation of the object if you want to use it as a relation, then you have to create a table view of it from scratch and add more relations from the library etc. it just seems to take way longer than it needs to. For example, if you add the relations to the object in the library, could these relations not automatically be there in the table or other view, and could a set not be created automatically for each object type?. And perhaps instead of having to create a relation of the objects if you want to use them as a relation, could all the objects just be usable as a relation automatically?
My ideal situation would be all you do is create an object, then add the relations you want to show with it as default. The set is automatically created. The relation of that object is automatically taken from the sets. And maybe even the template already has the relations you have chosen as default relations in the template too. -
This probably isn’t a UX issue / perhaps it’ll get fixed soon, but it would also be good to easily be able to reuse objects and relations in other spaces. For example, I use a relation called ‘rating’ where it has 1 to 5 star emojis as the options. I have about 5 spaces so I had to set this up each time in each space. And I also have standard objects I want in each space which, again, I had to set up 5 times (and go through the rigmarole of setting them up each time)

I also want to be able to set a date as the title of an object. For example, for journaling or daily reporting - and this date should be editable (i.e. not a created date or something). You can write out the date I suppose but then it doesn’t sort properly. This would also be helpful for planning your week / organising your tasks etc. And for habit tracking.

Undent with bullets. I know you can press shift and tab to undent a bullet but this isn’t intuitive. With most other apps, pressing Enter will undent the bullet (I’m always pressing this and then nothing happens and I have to remember about pressing shift and tab)

When you create 2 columns, it adds a big space between each line. This isn’t a huge deal but it is quite annoying. My main use case is when I create a template for an object, I like to have all the relevant relations at the top of the page, but if I have more than 3 or 4, it would be better in 2 columns so it doesn’t take up so much space on the page. But when you do this, it adds a blank space between each line so it still takes up the same amount of space.

Inline sets and collections. It’s quite irritating that the inline versions don’t behave the same as the original version. The inline collection is very basic and you can’t even add relations other than the title (I assume this is a version one thing so that’s fine). And with the set, you can’t multi-select / batch edit like you can with the original version.

When you duplicate a Kanban view, the columns randomly change position. And sometimes they just change position on their own (without duplicating it).
I’m sure all these will get fixed at some point, and I am grateful for the team for all their hard work, but these are the tings that irk me the most.
