Notion enhancer is this mod loader that adds many feature enhancements and improvements to notion. Notion enhancer has this feature called tabs that lets you open any page in a new tab. This is an absolute game changer in terms of convenience and productivity, and many install notion enhancer just for that feature. I wouldn’t think this would be an issue to implement in anytype considering how optimized it already is. Every time you open a new tab, it should maybe just show the dashboard.
I think craft has this. Tabs+ Multi windows are great and useful
Either tabs or being able to open two instances of anytype (like you can in notion)
Be careful with your wishes because some developers integrate the tabs, but prevent them from being dragged out to become autonomous windows…
Of course, tabs would only suit me if they allow multiple windows. But anyway I’m still a big fan of multiple instances of softwares.
I think anytype should have tabs now.
It’s very convenient for multitasking.

I think we could introduce it alongside public spaces capabilities to be in par with web 2 browser experience.

Longer explanation:
Usually “tabs” simply refer to the option of having tabs on top which allow easily jumping from one page/object to another.
“Panes” on the other hand refer to the ability to have multiple pages/objects open and visible at the same time. This is essential for productivity and multitasking (for example, looking at one note while working on another, or to move over elements between notes).
By the way, ideally any pane could also contain widgets.
Ideally I’d like a combination of both. The best implementation I’ve seen for this is to have panes within tabs. In other words, tabs would contain either single pages/objects, or a certain combination of them (in a pane layout). For example, Tab A might contain only my Main Hub object, while Tab B contains a big pane with a project object, and two smaller panes on the right with two other related objects. (this can ne achieved in RemNote with the Tabs plugin installed)
An alternative combination of tabs and panes would be to have tabs exist within panes. Though to me that seems messy.
This looks like it would be awesome to work with if that could happen! 
I come from Craft and I have really come to like tabs. Especially on my iPad! The way it works is nice and simple. Fast to use. So that might be the number 1 wish from me - but if it could be combined with panes for larger screens that would be simply amazing

Adding my +1 to this.
The most common time where I miss tabs is when I want to keep an object open at all times (my “notebook” object, where I jot down quick notes before moving them elsewhere in my workspace) while being able to navigate elsewhere in my space. I use multiple windows for now, but it’s pretty inconvenient.
that feature would make it whole a lot more functional.
When we have multiple spaces, it would be great if we can use different spaces in different tabs/panes. Each tab of a specific space has a different border design demonstrating its relevant space.
P.S. I hope the estate of screen display can be utilised effectively and maximised, so more information can be seen even on a small screen.
Panes within tabs is what i wanted in obsidian. They really ruined a good thing when they changed to tabs. Sliding Panes are awesome on a bigger screen so iam with you 110%

Also adding my voice on this one! Tabs would be great. Currently you can open multiple Anytype windows by rightclicking on a linked object, but a new tab would be more convenient.
I like the way the Arc browser handles split panes. I hope future implementations of tabs/split panes can draw inspiration from their solution.
Here are some ways they allow you to create a split screen:
- Through the command palette
- By using the mouse from the top right corner (see attached gif)
- By holding Option and clicking on a link
