Welcome to the Anytype community @SebastianA. There are a few ways to open object in new window:
- Keyboard shortcut (which you can check through the ? button at the bottom right) for new window; that’s Cmd+Shift+N on Mac
- At search pane (Cmd+S), after searching the object you need, you can cmd+enter the object to open it in new window.
- For linked/related object in another object, you can cmd+click.
On Windows, cmd is likely to be replaced by ctrl.
On Split View matter, I believe the inability to easily align all windows is an innate MacOS issue. I personally use other program to help me with that which is probably not ideal for everyone.
However, rather than smoothing the opening process alone, I would prefer Anytype to implement it with tabs.
