WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
It’s great to be able to use “Copy link” to link objects to other spaces. However, with the current implementation, by clicking on the link (for both source property or texts with link), Anytype opens the object directly in that space, replacing the current object.
- To return to the current object in the former space, it requires several steps.
It would be nice if the workflow is smoother.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
Not knowing what’s planned on Linking between Spaces , Cmd+Click or Ctrl+Click to open the object in a new window (or tab if when tab is implemented) would be nice.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
Working on two windows for two spaces at the same time, it would be nice if we could make it object A in Space A always opened in the Window for Space A, not replacing the workflow on Object B opened in Window B for Space B.
↑ Cmd+Click is not good enough for this use case, but this might require more dynamic and complex opening instructions for windows/tabs.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
Hopefully this type of smoothness in workflow will be considered for tabs as well.
