What is your dealbreaker with Anytype?

Hi!
Yes. There are FRs for each. I have linked the ones I could find below.

These are “must-haves” for me. I love the core philosophy of the team and the type and object based system of PKM. But, without the functions mentioned in my post, my workflow is greatly hampered.

I do have other requests that would enhance my work experience. But those are not deal-breakers. Some of the “nice-to-haves” are:

• being able to see ALL relations in the graph, not only the object-type relations and
• more filter and canvus-like functionality for the graph.
• A way to distinguish different views of sets and collections from the graph
• a way to filter objects by templates,
• a way to automatically add objects to a collection,
• a way to view all related or linked objects from the object without opening the flow- graph,
• color wheel .
• Nested relations (inheritance)
• inline relations (tags)

Also, adding a layer on top of Anytype, which enables us to doodle in Any place in our app, would be a dream.

These also have there own FRs.

But, for fully adopting Anytype, I need those 5 features that mentioned in the original post. The others are for increasing efficiency.

Custom storage FR:

Custom Storage Location

I think it would be handy to be able to change the location that Anytype stores it’s content. On some of may machines, I have a small boot drive and then a large “data” drive so it would be beneficial to be able to have Anytype store content on the larger drive. This could also tie into running the app on a server of sorts and have that cache the content on a data drive to be backed up from there. It could also add opportunities for things like deduplication which can’t be done on system drives…

Choose the drive or location to install the software. Now it is directly getting installed in C drive

Hello! I was just thinking about mentioning nebo, but I found your comment in a happy coincidence while scrolling. I would love to be able to add a block and draw out concepts. I need them as I make whiteboard explainer videos for my students regularly. Currently I use the concepts app, and/nebo, and/or whiteboard softwares to do this. A diagram or flowchart type, in addition to the current "pages", ”notes” etc

Am I understanding this correctly: It’s a Layout/Page that’s basically a Whiteboard with inline and editable ‘previews’ for objects that you can Relate and draw upon? Sounds like a way to execute New Type of Pages - Whiteboard/Canvas but more advanced. It could show relations within the object/page/block, therefore making it possible to create a graph within a graph.
