Oooh some really nices fixes in this one! :raising_hands: I don’t see 0.47 when I check for updates, is this a pre-release, or am I just too impatient?

It’s still deploying, couple of minutes.

This update is really nice!
I celebrate especially the Header Properties Column View.
And of course the immensely increased speed while switching Views!!!
Also the bunch of bug fixes and QoL improvements.

This is maybe the first time where I don’t have the unpleasant feeling that the team has set the priorities wrong.
Nope, this time is everything good, nice improvements.
Both thumbs up! :+1: :+1:

Oh yeah ! Update was super smooth, as always. I really really like this new List view feature for properties. This somehow solves the long-awaited “Apply template to an existing object” for my main use-case : update the headers of all objects when editing a type.

The Type Edges in graph view is also very welcome ! It quickly clutters the graph view though, so ideally I’d like to toggle it on a per-type basis.

Great work, thank you !!

Edit: AnyType was always fast, but now it is lightening fast ! The graph view opens in milliseconds.

Thanks for new update!

I have a question about this update though:
What’s “Cluster by Type” in Graph settings and how would it be different from “Type Edges”?

Type edges force lines between type and objects, cluster by type applies a force to group objects of a certain type together without linking them.

Absolutely stunning Update! Congratulations Anytype team! Thank you very much!

Thanks, team! This is really a great update. Kudos for the new objects and properties view, so much more readable.

Seems there is a bug with one of them.
I tried both variants. Since then, my graph no longer looks the same.
It’s more as if one of the two variants had remained switched on, although I deactivated both switches again.
It also didn’t help to deactivate ALL the switches and then reactivate them individually. The arrangement of the elements is clearly different than before.

Ah, yes, reloading the window resets it.
And the culprit is “Cluster by Type”.

@Razor – Do you need a bug report, or is this post enough?

I need a bugreport, please. I’ve checked this yesterday, there was a bug and I’ve fixed it, so I’ll need a video.

Does the Any team have a preferred package manger on Linux?

Thanks for the new version, Anytype Team!

Can you please clarify - space settings are not accessible at the bottom of the Sidebar, maybe you mean app settings/vault settings?

eh…

edit
I see, it’s all under files

Thanks AnyTeam. More than happy to renew Builder for another year!

hi Michael! you’re right, thank you very much for pointing that out!
the gear icon was supposed to lead to the space settings in the pre-release version (as part of an experiment), but currently it opens the sidebar editor.
sorry for the confusion, I’m updating the text right now :raising_hands:

After updating to 0.47.1, all images (.jpeg, .png, etc.) are only shown in Files instead of previous Media.
What changed and what files are now considered as Media in All Objects right now?

not having anything in media also prevents the image chooser from finding any images (like for the profile picture)

“Media” now refers to audio and video files. Images, PDFs, and others are listed under “Files.”
