Is there any way to delete files? I couldn’t figure it out or find a thread about it

It is not yet possible. File and media deletion, types and relations deletion are planned for this year AFAIK. Keep an eye on the roadmap

@Vova Is this deleting only local files and not the ones in backup nodes?

Only local. Deleting from the backup node is in early development

Any news when the ability to delete files will be added? This is a pretty basic feature and it’s not in the plans for this year :confused: Anytype Feature Roadmap 🪩 · GitHub

This is too small feature to add it on the roadmap. We are working on this at the time and hopefully will ship it in a 2-3 next releases.

This will be possible with Beta release. For now there are some work-arounds. See this comment: File and image delete - #9 by devtk0
