Use @ for both inline and block links

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Shift + click and shift + enter could be used to quickly create block links instead of inline ones.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Currently, you need to use /link to be able to insert block links, but this is a lot slower then just using @.

I certainly would want everything to be accessible more quickly… but with @ for block links as well, will it slow down the original inline links? Where and when do you picture the selection of insert style (block or inline) to take place? Maybe another symbol for block links?

Or would it be smoother for combining command palette feature and/or customisable keyboard shortcut feature? So we can customise to whatever make most sense and quickest to us individual.

There would be no selection. It would just be a hotkey. If you shift click on an entry, it would just insert it as a block instead. That’s it.

The current idea is to use [[ for block link, what do you think?

Yeah, that would work great too!

I’d just like to mention how Tana does this or something similar to this. When you use @ at the beginning of a node, you transclude the whole block. While if you use @ inside the block, you would do an inline mention similar to what AT does now.
The way this could be implemented in AT is to use @ for /link commands when you use it in an empty block, and keep the same functionality for inline mentions.
