If I think about it, in addition to my earlier resonance:
What I’d really love to see during the townhall is a hands-on best-practice example how Anytype with Editor 2.0 and all the goodies in the pipeline 
can help a team self-organize: Epics, User Stories, Tasks, Events, Chat, Assumptions, Facts — the Company Brain that helps people keep an overview, collaborate, and stay on track together, ideally with AI assistance.
As a sales story for new users, and an inspiration for us.

I might actually speak directly on this now: because we have too much to cover during the Town Hall, we may not have time for this topic. We are considering on doing a separate event soon after, specifically dedicated to the API upgrades and some other goodies. It may also make sense to cover it in a separate event because it’s maybe a little nerdy for the general user base.
I didn’t realise that it was removed, but nothing to fear—sovereignty is absolutely something that’s crucial to what we do. Actually, we’ve tried to move away from that word and use ‘ownership’ because it seemed a little bit more tangible to people (even if it’s not exactly the same).
For those who are nerdy, I think it’s clear to see that the Anytype team very much resonates with Web3. But maybe not something that is relatable/understandable to the general user base. But I may briefly touch on the topic during the Town Hall as it relates to something else we’re discussing.
This is an interesting question but I’m not even sure we truly know the answer to this because the methods for recovery advance regularly and it seems there may be some level of cooperation between the device/OS makers—but it’s a moving target. I can ask our engineers, and see what happens.
Anytype doesn’t associate vaults with emails at all, so there’s no direct link between your vault and email (or our ability to verify your identity) unless you actively choose to email us with your AnytypeID.
Has there been any developments on implementing handwritten notes?
Since I can’t make it to the town hall meeting, unfortunately, here are my questions:
- What do you think about the File-Manager idea?
- Will there be some sort of Lobby?
- Will there be a compact raster view on mobile?
- What are your perspectives on business models? (Would the ideas, knowledge and experience of the users be interesting for anytype? Why not having a survey like the roadmap about the acceptable or favorable perpectives from the user side?)

Perhaps less a question than an update request: Could you update us on the state-of-play regarding the implementation of reminders and notifications, building upon the last update here? That would be very appreciated.
Yes it was. I was one of the first 500 or so external invited to Anytype in its early EARLY alpha stage a year or 6 ago. Back then it was just a notetaking app for the individual or at least it was never communicated back then that it would be some kind of collaboration-at-it’s-core tool. After years it felt so sudden the all in on collaboration that it really trew me (and others) off. That’s why I asked this question of what changed.
But I guess internally the vision never changed, only thing was that in the early stage it was not clearly communicated to the users/testers.
Oh, I do have a new question:
Will the log-in key ever be separated from the encryption key? They are now one and the same (if I am correct?) and that feels unsafe. It only takes one misclick, one accidental showing of your key, one leak and then there is nothing you can do to stop people from having access. It cannot be changed and it is the only key needed to enter your Anytype. Will addition layer of login be added?
I fully support this too! This security issue still hasn’t been resolved, and it’s a real problem. Anton did mention several possible approaches, and if I understood correctly, basically, this will become a priority as we approach v1.0. However, for a number of users, this is a very important issue, and we should receive fairly regular updates on its progress—or at least on the vision for its integration and the technological choices being made.
I didn’t keep a record of the slides or the talk given during the Anytype alpha onboarding, but your memory must have playing tricks on you, as I can confirm that, although vague, the vision of the collaborative aspect was already mentioned back then.
We both joined the Anytype alpha in 2021, but as you can see from these sources, even before we signed up, Zhanna had already mentioned collaboration.

Q: Will anytype get automation like in notion?
It could do a lot of things like, creating some page daily for daily journal. Calculating values for property based on other properties, etc.
As much as I think automation is cool and would love it, as a very recent noob to Anytype I am very surprised/disappointed to discover that Anytype’s “relations” don’t really seem to be true relations…I was expecting something similar to the functionality of Notion’s relations where it can be two-way, but it seems to really just be more of a one-way association thing.
Anytype Team: do you expect to add true bi-directional relations to Anytype any time soon? Thanks!

– Seems we need a video-meeting function in Anytype, to become independent from such providers as Google.
I guess everyone is very enthusiastic this time that I can’t even join as well! I only knew just now that Google Meet is apparently limited to 150 participants only
