Search palette doesn't show most recent objects

WHAT IS THE BUG

Search palette/panel doesn’t show most recent objects. If it is an object (2nd object or below) that is already on the recent list, and you open object, it refreshes to the first first position. But not other newly opened object.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

  1. Open search palette
  2. No refresh/update of recent objects.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Show most recent objects

SYSTEM INFORMATION

  • Device:
    Macbook Air M1
  • OS:
    Ventura 13.4.1
  • Anytype Version:
    v.0.34.3 (possibly since 15 June 2023? This is latest modified date on the list of recent objects)

You are right here. This was implemented in the alpha version.
As a lot of the UI was rewritten, it seems this feature didn’t make it to the beta.
I therefore changed this to a feature request.

Whichever works for the team… but it says recent objects on the search palette, so people will probably be confused by it.

Agreed! I came here to report this as a bug. I hope this will be implemented soon. I navigate between many of the same pages throughout the day, and having easy access to the recent pages in the search bar (cmd+s/k) would be really nice.

Yeah, it’s pretty unfortunate that this was not ported from the alpha app. I’ve really gotten used to using it.

This is a bug and will be fixed in next release.
