Queries with Filters for Properties on Objects

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

*Would love to be able to filter properties on an object using either a custom or defined query. Current system queries by object but without further filters.

So if I had a property that was to identify a point of contact, I could use my Human object, but then have to sort through hundreds of humans to find them. But if I could filter it to say those at a certain company or those with a certain role (both properties tied to the human object), then my drop-down list becomes much more manageable.*

HOW COULD IT BE DONE?

ᅟIdeal solution would allow you to build a custom query filter at the time the property is defined. But simpliest solution would be to be able to apply a custom saved query for that object type to the property, then you could at any time change the query if it needed to be adjusted.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Listed above, but another case might be to have a team identified. They are all objects in the human object type. I added a new field to the project for the delegated project lead, but I want the list of humans to be one of my team only. It would be nice to have a query to select those humans with the property ‘team leads’ as a role to be able to pick from.

Do the following feature requests look like what you want?

The first is what I’m speaking of. Adding filters to relationships. This to me is an essential need. Though the second item would allow for much better project management - to have something that allowed tasks to stack upon another for a project.
