Escape dollar sign or other markdown replacement

What do you need help with?

How can I escape the dollar sign or other auto replacement while typing ?
I need to type – and $ very often, but seems all of them cannot be escaped by type a reverse slash before them, even wrap with backticks.
Also there is no options to disable replacement list in markdown → while typing

Additional Context

Searched

  1. Escape dollar sign
  2. Inline code escape
  3. Stop replace while typing

I tried

  1. \$123$ → Failed to escape
  2. \$123\$ → \$123\$
  3. \-- → \—
  4. -- → —

Expect :

  1. \$123\$ → $123$
  2. $123$ → $123$ in a format of inline code
  3. \-- → -- not — (Maybe there should be an option for auto replacement ?)
  4. — → --
  5. Like in Telegram, backspace will return back origin markdown.

This is a real pain indeed…

Unfortunately, there’s no way to do that at the moment. Please vote for this feature request:

Voted, hope this feature is WIP since 2021. Format is a big deal in Markdown tool, hope AnyType can be better.
