Do not fit to screen (or zoom to fit) small images in mobile.
The current behavior is, if the image is smaller than the screen’s width, it’s enlarged to force it to fit the screen. This results in pixelated/low-quality-looking images.
Also, this isn’t the behavior in desktop. Small images are displayed in their original sizes.
Don’t fit to screen. Only images that exceed the device’s screen dimensions should be adjusted.
Display in its original size and follow the alignment set in desktop.
I use small images as layout designs and content dividers. When viewed in mobile, they’re taking up more space than intended.
Example: Two icons placed in a narrow column can look very different in mobile.
