The Todoist android widget is mission critical for my life and I’m not kidding lol I use it at least a dozen times a day quickly offloading thoughts, ideas, things I need to do, etc. into my inbox to sort later. I would absolutely need this feature if I were to replace Todoist (which I want to).

My original comment was regarding just surfacing information. Of course to be able to edit it in widget would be great. But I’m not sure if this would be possible without having the entire app needing to be opened,. which would be a huge strain on resources.

good find Sam! (replied to the post - ideally would then be able to customise the widget for object type - ie, add new… task, code, book etc)
