What’s The Bug?
When attempting to change an object’s “type” in any view inside an imported Collection, I was unable to view or change the object type when “Editing type” Layout Properties view was initially (at creation of the Object Type) set to “List”. After changing the Properties view to “Line”, the option returned in any new objects created for that Object Type.
How To Reproduce It
- In Object Types view, choose an Object Type and open the “Edit type” panel.
- If this Object Type uses a “Page” view and a “Basic” Layout type, select “List” from the “Properties view” option (default is “Line”).
- Create a new object and open its page.
- Click on the Object Type value - you will not be able to view or change it
- Return to the Object Types view for your Space and open the “Edit type” panel for that Object Type again.
- Change “Properties view” back to “Line”
- Create a new object and open its page - you will now see and be able to select the desired Object type.
The Expected Behavior
I should be able to change the Object type when the Properties view is set to “List” as well as “Line”.
