Text style menu must not broke a link to an object

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Here is the problem :

  • Add a “link to” to a file object (as a PDF)
  • Clic to open the menu and change text style to what you want
  • Observe : You loose “Preview” options, you have now the classic “text” menu
  • Try to restore your like : try undo, it doesn’t work; try choose text style, it doesn’t change anything
  • So, you have to redo you link…

If using a Texts style as proposed in the contextual menu broke our link, I think it’s a bad UX.
Don’t propose it!
Or change to “Transform to inline link” (because it’s what “Text style” do…)

(and yes, I have to redo some link after trying to change the style of a link, I wouldn’t be the only one)

Today I also discovered this problem.

Only when I create a new object within the page will there be a preview option, and I can right-click on the link to bring up a menu. If I modify the text style or inline the object with @, there will be no preview option, and right-click will directly navigate to the object page.
