I know this has been submitted somewhat but it’s not in “Any Requests” so it’s not votable.
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Create a separate UI for Tablets and Foldable phones that more closely resemble the Desktop Version. Right now, it’s mirroring the mobile version.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
Make the UI more like the desktop variant. The larger screen and potential landscape mode gives a lot more freedom to support the features that the Desktop variant has. The sidebar, toolbar, and other elements could be displayed.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
A lot of people take notes on their tablet. Handwritten notes are on the roadmap, and it would be extremely awkward if Anytype doesn’t have proper tablet support when they release. Tablets are the #1 device that people make handwritten notes on.
RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES
Other than just deal with it or use a PC, the workarounds don’t really solve the issue. Forcing landscape mode doesn’t work right either.
