What’s The Bug?
When you select just written text by holding Shift and using the “arrow left” key, the last character will not be included in the selection.
How To Reproduce It
Open a Page and write a line. For example “Anytype”.
The cursor stand now right beside the character “e”.
Now press and hold Shift and use repeatedly the “arrow left” key to select the complete word (or a part of it).
After the first hit on the arrow left key, the “e” will be selected → correct behavior.
But after hitting the arrow key a second time, the “e” becomes unselected and the selection starts new from the position “p”.
You can further select the string from right to left, but the most right character in the line will always be outside of the selection.
The Expected Behavior
The selection should always begin from the position where the cursor stood in the beginning.
Additional Context
This error doesn’t happen if you place the cursor by using the mouse, or the arrow keys, to the desired start position.
It only happens while writing, if the cursor stands right beside the last typed character.
