Hi,
I was wondering how 2 claims made are functioning currently.
First one:
On the website it says the follwing;
“Local first, meaning it can work without a connection to the internet. Users data stays with them even if they are not connected”
- Does this still imply to ONLY the device you uploaded the files on? Or is it actually synced to ALL devices and useable OFFLINE without the need to manually download hundreds of files to get them offline on your phone as well?
If its the case that this claim is only for the device you upload them on, please change this misleading claim.
Side question to this: If i were to add a PDF from my laptop desktop to Anytype and then delete the desktop PDF, would it still be inside anytype?
Second one:
On the website there is the following Q&A;
"What happens to my data if anytype goes away one day?
everything is stored on-device, so even if anytype goes away, your data will not."
- Does this mean i can make an export on my laptop wich will include the files i uploaded from my phone? If so, how does this work if the sync network would be away/down? Or would i have to make exports of all devices seperately and then somehow merge them together?
Thanks in advance.
