What’s The Bug?
Every time after I input “@” or “/” , using the native Cangjie input of MacOS, some functions stop working the even after me switching it back to English input.
- the drop-down menu doesn’t pop up.
- When I press Enter (not Shift + Enter), it doesn’t create a new block when changing line.
- Markdown syntax is not working.
The functions stop functioning after input, which means I can’t even call the menu even in English input and I have to restart the app every time ,which is terrible.
Even though I know the bug, and I try not to cause it, but every time I accidentally cause it, I have to restart it. It has no difference from being stuck.
And I’ve seen bug report posted 5 months ago, about this but it’s still not fixed, and it has been almost a year.
How To Reproduce It
- Go to any page
- input “/” or “@” in non-english IME (Cangjie) (still not producing)
- switch it back to English input
- input “@” or “/” again.

The Expected Behavior
