What Do You Recommend?

When searching, right now you have to either click the result you want, or arrow key down to it. I think the top result should be highlighted, so that just pressing enter takes you there.

How Could It Be Done?

We can already arrow key down to select one; just have the top result be selected by default.

Recommended Alternatives

Arrow keys are decently fast; this is more of a QoL than anything else.

v0.38.0 It currently does select the top result by default for /link upon enter but not @ nor search.

This might be related to treating these two functions equally: linking to existing objects and creating new objects.

This would be a quality-of-live improvement and good for keyboard navigation and keyboard only usage.
