Sorry if it’s already posted somewhere, I did try to search!
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
In the grid view for a query, text is just cut if there isn’t enough space. I would like to be able to get a top-down view of multiple objects in my query in the grid view to interpret the information.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
Text overflow options like wrap vs clip, like with google sheets (I’m assuming other spreadsheets have this option).
It could be a simple toggle option for each property, since not all properties need to be fully viewable.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
To track multiple data, like with habits, symptoms, etc. in a top-down view.
Having to open each object to fully read properties that are cut off disrupts this and is very cumbersome. Text wrapping would allow anytype to function pretty well as a tracker, working within its current features.
This is with the anytype window fully expanded on my 24” monitor, and I still couldn’t expand the columns wide enough to fit all the info. they’re not that long either, most <1 sentence, but when each property has a short phrase even, then it’s hard to see all the info.
If we can just get word wrapping, then I would be able to view everything I need so much easier!
(also, I’m new to using a mac and can’t figure out how to easily blur screenshots lol, so open to any suggestions if you have a favourite app!)
