Form Objects (Select, Radio, Checkbox group, etc)

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Add objects that allow us to build forms:
Select
Radio button group
checkbox group
textbox
date selector
etc.

I’d like to create a type of journal that collects sets of worksheets for CBT or ACE, but really useable for any type of daily/regularly input form

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

Implement form types typical of html or other web forms.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

John sees his therapist and the therapist asks him to fill in a worksheet in pen and paper every day. He’d prefer to use any type to recreate the form in a form template and collect them in a journal object, which is a collection of specific types of forms.

HIs ideal situation would be to open up anytype, select to create a new document or “object” and choose the worksheet template he created. Then he can fill it in and rinse and repeat however often he needs to.

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES

Well already exists except for the select box. Just not quite as nice of an experience. It’s janky compare to what it could be.

One feature might be helpful: the ability to lock each block, enabling edits to specific area but protecting fix or important parts

Oh that’s a great idea. I would love that. I have lots of “structural” elements in my notes that would be nice to keep safe

Hi @ShawnSalat can you please provide more information. What is the blocker at the moment for you? How it should look, maybe you have some images from other software?
Can you just create new type for this form, create template and create as many object as you want?

Well, none of these things perform like form elements. I can’t really duplicate the behavior of any of these items. I’m using this to create templates for journal entries like mentioned in my post on journal types
