Follow-Up Update to Desktop v.0.43 and Mobile v.0.33

We’ve released a minor update to make additional improvements to the previous release. Your quick feedback has been invaluable in shaping a better overall experience. Thank you for your patience and support!

Here are few highlights, and in the meantime we keep moving forward to the next big release.

Changelog

Desktop 0.43.7

  • Improved stabilization and overall app performance.
  • Added support for Chinese language search.
  • Headers in Sets and Collections are now fixed at the top when scrolling in Grid view.
  • Added an “Open as Object” action for images and videos opened in fullscreen.
  • Typing text with multiple selected blocks now deletes them and starts a new text block.
  • Implemented a new progress bars system.
  • Fixed an issue where pressing Enter or arrow keys didn’t create a new block below callouts. Thanks, @Daria_Sweet97!

iOS 0.33.5 | Android 0.33.35

  • Added support for Chinese language search.
  • Improved stabilisation and overall app performance.

Thank you for the update! It’s pretty obvious that a lot of us nerds love a changelog

  • Added an “Open as Object” action for images and videos opened in fullscreen.

When a user clicks on the “Open as Object” action, should the fullscreen image/video disappear? It currently remains at the front, and the object itself opens behind (it’s easy to tell since it’s transparent). I have only tried this with an image, not a video, so I can’t speak to the same behavior there.

I’m really liking the headers in sets/collections :raised_hands:

Can’t reproduce.

Thank you for the update!

Great news!
Any chance to do the same thing for the horizontal scrollbar in next release?

Thanks for the changelog.
Found a bug when selecting blocks to turn them into a list with a shortcut (like ⌘ +8) it removes the content.

I’m now finding the search on Android has significantly downgraded from the previous version - notably partials matching. I keyed in ‘Encre’ to search for three objects called ‘Encre Noire’ and all I get is a single image match instead 8 search results if I do the same search on desktop.

fixed, thanks
