Empty Space Highlighting Lost on Locked Pages

What’s The Bug?

Empty space in highlighted fields are not shown properly when the page is locked.

How To Reproduce It

  1. Write a block of text with whitespace from the spacebar starting before it and after it.
  2. Highlight the text and the whitespace any color
  3. Lock the page.

The Expected Behavior

The highlighting is not lost when the page is locked, so its appearance is not adjusted from the lock feature.
