Do not ellipse title of inline links

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Do not elispe inline link titles. This allows the user to use the text of the link as part of the topic.

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

The current workaround is highlight the text and then CTRL K. However using the @ symbol is faster. You also loose some functionality with the highlight. For example tasks loose the checkmark.

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Writing in my journal and thought of a good thing to do. I could simply @ then statement and create a task right there.

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES

Improve Highlight CTRL K options to if it is a object include the features of the object type.

While testing the issue I’ve found a bug related to Ctrl + k

Linking with Ctrl + k leads to the wrong file

What’s The Bug? Marking a text and using the key combination Ctrl + k for creating a link to another Object leads to the wrong Object. How To Reproduce It See my animation: I marked in the editor the word “Kloster” (in the intention, to make it into a Link). I pressed Strg + k Then I typed “DSC” to choose a picture from a list.
