Allow the title of an inline set to be different from the source set

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

I want to be able to have a title for my inline set that is different from the source set

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

Either allow it to be different, or allow it to be hidden so we can add a block with a Title ourselves.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

See related bug report here:

Agree!, at least make it so we can hide it.

I agree, this confused me so much!

An inline set should allow you to have the same set of items, but have a different name and different views depending on where you’re using it.

for example.

main task list with the views of : Today, This Week, Done

Then you create a “Dashboard” page This will have filtered views like “My Tasks”, “Work Tasks”, “Maintenance Tasks” etc…

This is just one case but there can be so many reasons to do this.

I know this has been asked before a couple of years ago, and I was hoping that with the new ios & mac os updates we would finally get it, as is such a simple thing, but sadly we got a new spaces sidebar instead.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

  • ability to hide or change the titles of inline sets & collections

HOW COULD IT BE DONE?

*ᅟ I don’t know how this could be done, I would gladly do it myself if I knew how to

REAL WORLD USE CASES

  • It will make the UI / page layout less cluttered & easy to read, we already have a title for the page where the inline set or collection is, we don’t need this repeated right below again, the ability to hide it, or change the name of the inline set / collection (without changing the name of the original set / collection) would solve this

RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES

*á…źThere isnt one

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

  • The reddit sub, and this community has many many posts from users asking about this exact thing, so is safe to say this would be a change your users will ne happy about.

Oh my gosh, yes. This would be amazing. It would add SUCH a large amount of clean-up to the interfaces within columns that users can build.
