You're invited: Join us for the ANY Experience Gallery Challenge! šŸŽ¬

To be fair, Zettlekasten for a Week 1 kickoff is a lot to take on. I watched a few YouTube videos on ZK and I’m still not sure how to explain it to someone else…
Guess I’ll stick with basic tags for now :joy:

To be fair, I understand the complexity of ZK. But I just don’t expect the week to run out without any word. And that should be today or tomorrow.

Hi Jed!!
Zettelkasten is on its way! We took a week to research, and gave a fair amount of time to prepare unrushed to everyone who was inspired to participate.

But as Curie pointed out, with this approach, it took much longer to build it in an understandable way))

On Monday we will publish the use case in Gallery + start the next one!
P.s. I will keep you updated about Project Management Experience

Ahah, true! I personally started accumulating information from different adepts of this system, and only after many efforts to put it all together, I realised I needed to focus on one person who was able to explain everything in his unique style) but it’s still hard to step away from the usual ā€˜simple’ tagging

Great. Thanks for the update. Perhaps I was too anxious, it’s just that I can’t wait :joy:.

Zettel added to experience gallery. Thanks

Monday’s update is here!

The Zettelkasten use case is ready, you can find it in the Experience Gallery right now!

Note: due to complexity of Zettelkasten concept we have added quite a lot of text content in this approach so those who are not familiar with Smart Note-taking can (hopefully ) understand it!
For those, who are - there is also a lot of author’s material on how to use it in Anytype :))

Looking forward to seeing your feedback!

In the meantime, starting Week #2 and Project Management :dart:

@Geladariia thanks for citing Martin Adams as the expert for the Zettlekasten. His explanation is much simpler than many others I tried to learn from! :+1:
Just starting to play around, but lots of good tips in the Anytype Zettlekasten Experience!

Hello dear community!

The Project Management Experience is ready to use :rocket:

Note: this approach is focused on tracking personal tasks…

Note2: as soon as we launch multiplayer, team-working use case will be added as well

Quick reminder: we’re already on Week #3! :dancer:

FRM - is not just about Ā«managingĀ» your friends. It’s also about a simple idea, that being friends means paying attention.

So let’s create something new & helpful for building powerful social capital together :man_cartwheeling:

March 4th: Week #4!

Starting to make a new pack of Home Pages inspired by the coming spring :blossom:

P.s. who’s tried the FRM Experience yet?

Haven’t tested it yet because I don’t have my PC here with me. One of those reasons mobile need to support import feature. But I’m excited about it. Keep up the good work.

Hate to be the party-pooper, but having ā€œLast meetingā€ as an independent Relation is impractical. Besides the nuisance, already in the showcase there’s a mismatch (see last meeting dates with ā€œAndreasā€ and ā€œCarlosā€ compared to the meeting dates). I understand this is a way to work around the lack of formulas, but I can’t see anybody do this consistently and efficiently long-term.

Another big issue is that if you create a Meeting and add participants, the Meeting isn’t added to their Human-object. Making this work without transclusions is a PITA (I’ve described my impractical workaround using filtered sets), so again – impossible to maintain.

The other day I went to a house party and met 10 friends there. Say I only care to write up quick notes about conversations I had with 5 of them. So ok, I create a Meeting/Event object with 5 of them, and then need to link 5 times, one by one, and also update the Last meeting relation for 5/10 more?

I truly wish Anytype could handle this use case. It’s what brought me over in the first place. But formulas are really a must, and transclusions are also essential. The whole point of doing this is to make tracking simple, nearly effortless, not a system that requires you to go back and forth between pages and make sure you remember to update a series of values.

(Two side notes:

  1. ā€œAddressā€ is a great example for the utility of having a geolocation-relation. It would be amazing to be able to type an address and have it open in OSM
  2. ā€œFamilyā€ as plaintext shows the lack of formatting. It very quickly becomes a long string of text that’s difficult to utilize quickly.
    But again, formulas and transclusion…)

So, Week #5 has crept up quietly.

A new season, new beginnings, new projects. And, perhaps, even new clients :feather:
Let’s try to think of something useful for those who may need such a use-case (Basic CRM) in the near future :handshake:

And a few words about the previous Experience:
We were inspired to create Homepages by a very good friend of ours, who once described what they would like to see opening their computer every day. We kept it simple, without any extra stuff or complexity. Just a few ideas, that might give you a starting point if you’ve just become familiar with Anytype recently.

And we’re thrilled to see more unique examples and ideas (like the latest Zen System) in the Gallery.
Thank you all!

Hello, dear community!
Is anyone getting ready for the upcoming gardening season yet? Or maybe it’s already time to start thinking about repotting your favourite Begonia in the kitchen? :potted_plant:

Insider news: we already have one Plant Experience uploaded to GitHub! And it looks awesome :star_struck:
However, due to unexpected maintenance, some use cases, including this one, have still no way to get into the Gallery :smiling_face_with_tear: Fingers crossed that the problems will be fixed soon!

Please kindly share the GitHub link

hi Jed! All of the latest experiences are already in the Gallery

That was 7 days ago. I’ve added it to my space, thanks
