Good call. I am also searching my best-fitted way to make a quote.
I used to use callout… but it is currently very bulky…
I now make it quote object and link it to the source location, because of reusability, ignoring highlight/callout text style.
Currently struggling with note layout or page layout… Both not ideal, I want the text linkable and a clean display of favourite relations below the quote…
Probably change my usage when FR transclusion comes.
If we have better callout display, like Obsidian callouts where you can label it as “Question” or “Important”, then it would be more useful.
