WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
A node editing graph view. How to combine graph view and flow view to add more intuitive functionality and easier and quicker relation and link editing.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
So i initialy was writing about how i think mind maps/ white boards and handwritten notes should be the same feature but i ended up designing a little ui for completley another thing lol.
So the idea i had was to make mindmap white board graphical editor in which you could add pages and notes but then i ended up redesigning graph and flow menu combining them in one.
I am used to working with nodes in 3D graphics aplications but they are very simple to understand i hope the roough ui i made delivers the idea.
If you could quickly open up a small menu that has links and some of the relations shown, like click a node and it will show you this node view with the relations to other nodes that you have set up and that you can set up right here by using + button and then simply dragging it to other nodes to add the relation and the connnection. Also to eding some properties like i have here in the fruit salad #calories being able to edit it right here in the graph view and then you can click the title to open the page or double click the node or whatever you think should be best for this.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
I think if we can have this you would be able to edit relations way faster right inside the graph view and some properties as well like some of them you can click a star right now to show it on the page, maybe those will be visible in the nodes and if you deselect the star thingy it will not be visible and so on. I belive this can be a very flexible system, and add context preview and notes and drawing and you will have a white board avaliable.
