WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Add left and right sidebar for easier and quicker access to vault/space options (on the left) and the object-specific info and actions (on the right).
The purpose of the left sidebar is easier orientation and app access at the level of the object (say Page) and above. It would display the Widgets screen, that is normally reached by tapping the Back icon at the top.
The purpose of the right sidebar is easier access to all available options on the object / Page - like export, publish, move - and the info like backlinks and others available in the desktop version.
HOW COULD IT BE DONE?
Add sidebars on left- and right- swipe. Swipe seems currently un- or under-used. This would provide a really quick access to important options.
REAL WORLD USE CASES
For left: I often need access to the list of Pages or to switch Spaces. Swiping left would provide me with these options instead of going back several times.
For right: The same for Page options, like seeing the ToC, backlinks, as well as operations, which now require tapping the small … icon.
