Unable to input time in date relation

What’s The Bug?

Unable to input time in a date relation (which includes time).

  • Numbers are not stored after keystroking
  • Cursor changes with keyboard arrows might be conflicting with date picker
  • Invalid number is accepted (and autocorrected) but valid numbers can’t be stored

How To Reproduce It

  1. Go to a date relation
  2. Make sure relation includes time
  3. Click on the time to attempt changing of time, then click out of the relation box
  4. :lady_beetle:See time is not stored
  5. Try again with “today” - the present time is not recorded as well :lady_beetle:
  6. Click on the time to position the cursor
  7. Attempt to move cursor with arrows
  8. :lady_beetle: Date in date picker is being highlighted instead

Image or Video

The Expected Behavior

Able to store typed time and reposition cursor with arrows in time relation

Additional Context

btw there is no “today” or “tomorrow” options for space member - is this by design?

I just feel stupid, but how on earth did you get the time been shown in that date picker dialogue?

It’s conflicting with calendar, now fixed. Yes, the participant does not have these options as participant is read-only and can’t be edited.

Thanks @Razor.

I can’t show time in calendar. Time is shown in relation only.

Currently, Date is the primary “properties” for the relation, time is secondary. Whenever time is required, calendar pops up for the primary field.

Ah, thanks to the picture I finally understand (I was completely buffled!).
– You did it in a Relation header of a Set’s or Collection’s Grid.

Before that was clear I tried to create a new Date Relation in a Page, but there is no option to include the time.

I would appreciate if Team can fix this in a hot fix. The more time we have this bug, the more un-completable notes and I have… I use time relations everyday…

@Razor

This is fixed in main, so will be in the next build.

Was this ever fixed??? Because I still have no options to add time and I desperately need it!

Update to new release please

I am on 0.45.0 and there is no way to add time. Just the date only.

You need to set include time option in the relation settings:

I don’t have the option to include time. Not sure why.

It’s available in sets/collections only and this bug refers to them originally

Oh ok. Now I see. Sorry about that. Is date-time on types (i.e. Page) something that is coming in the future?

Yes, we need to move this setting on a relation level from sets, since it makes more sense to make this setting global for current relation.

Agreed! Thank you for answering my questions. Appreciate it.
