Timeblocking / time boxing feature for daily planning

I have been using apps like TickTick, Notion and Obsidian for note taking, daily/weekly planning and general to do stuff but everytime the functionality of the apps was either lacking (TickTick), too much of a hassle to just write some notes in an orderly manner (Obsidian) or just a bit slow and commercial (Notion)

But around 3 months ago i switched to Anytype, as the UI and features really spoke to me and i have been using it happily ever since. It’s been great for lecture notes, to do’s and such.

However, the number one features that I have missed from those other apps is the ability to do time blocking as a form of daily planning. Obsidian has some great plugins for this. Of course there are other dedicated time blocking apps, but i would rather use Anytype as my main app.

This is how it is done in Obsidian:

There have been requests for a more elaborate calendar feature, but I would really appreciate it if a specific time blocking feature would be included in that.

Wouldn’t this just require a daily timeline?
So Calendar / Timeline View or Timeline view?

Thanks for the response.
The posts you provided are more Gantt chart style, while my suggestion is more specifically time blocking-based, if that makes sense.

These are some examples that hopefully visualize what i’m saying better.
They are mobile apps Timebloc and TimeTune.

Maybe this could be a different view/variation of the timeline feature you mentioned.

The second one is more about the Gantt chart, although it just says timeline so who knows, but the first one is about calendar support, and daily timelines are usually part of that.
