As shown in the images below I am creating a People management set. I am using the object human then I have created a relation class type, where I can put author, actor, relative etc.
Liked to the profile I have Linked Objects of book and film so far. This is working out well except how they are presented.
Is there any way instead of just scrolling in a long line they could be listed with line breaks.
If not is there any way I can set this up in a different manner to get the effect effect I am looking for.
Unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment.
According to the roadmap, the devs will improve Sets and Collections in the third quarter. But it’s not clear what that means.
You could write a Feature Request: “Show Multi-Selects in the Grid separated by breaks”.
– It would be useful especially for Tags (not only for Linked Objects)!
After spending ages playing with things I am now including the books in the profile like this. I realised that some of the authors had 20+ books and even in a list it would look bad. I now have things like their Goodreads link showing in the grid.
I agree though, even for things like tags and other multi selects the feature will still be desirable.
As far as I understood, this is what @Creativefibro did.
He or she used a Multi-Select for storing the Links to the Books.
Problem is, that the Grid shows all Links in that Multi-Select in one single line.
.
This is similar, but not the same.
I would even say that @Creativefibro 's request would have a better chance to become implemented. Because a general wrap for content is more complicated to implement, but to implement it only for Multi-Selects is much more easy. And it would fulfill most needs.
@Creativefibro@Code-Jack Can one of you please write a separate FR for this? Code-Jack already suggested something like “Show Multi-Selects in the Grid separated by break”.
