WHAT IS THE BUG
When deleting a bullet list item by hitting “backspace” after accidentally creating a new list item inside of a toggle or toggle heading, the entire structure and formatting for the list and toggle breaks. It will pull things that are outside of the hierarchy into the list from below.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT
- Create a toggle heading.
- Create a bulleted list within the toggle heading with text at the top level of the list.
- Add a new level of hierarchy to the bulleted list by hitting “Tab” after adding a new item.
- Hit backspace to delete the sub-list item, or hit “Shift+Tab” to un-indent the block
- List/toggle gets scrambled.
THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Deleting or unindenting a block should bring the cursor up one level in the hierarchy without scrambling anything below it.
