Tab navigation in batch edit in sets

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND

Batch editing an object in a Set layout does not accept tab as a means to navigate from relation to relation, this makes batch editing very slow as you have to mouse between fields. This is made worse if you set the columns to be narrower than the default as the UI doesn’t reduce the edit cell which makes the next column hidden by the overrun of the cell being edited.

HOW COULD IT BE DONE

Enable tab as a navigation

REAL WORLD USE CASES

Batch editing a set where columns smaller than default width is painful

I think this would be beneficial for the table view when looking at sets or collections.

The AnyType team should consider implementing the use of arrow keys, and not just the tab button.

I’m a fan of Notion’s UX: after clicking on a relation/cell, the relation/cell stays highlighted and you can navigate the table using both tab and arrow keys. You can then press space or enter to open any relation/cell.

This would be hugely helpful for quickly adding a lot of objects to a set at once. I’m finding it pretty tedious so far.
