This happens on my OnePlus13 on Android with App version: 0.40.19-beta. Mine will stop showing Loading… at some point and show No Objects in Space, even when there are objects, and I can see them when I click into it. If I collapse the widget while it shows ‘Loading…’, it won’t expand again.
I have a Page pinned as well with 2 inline queries in it as a type of home dashboard, and it works without issue.
Which issue tracker? I looked at the one for the Android app on Github and couldn’t see any.
I think these issues are critical and have basically ruined the whole experience for me since I now can’t see my collections, icons and need to take extra steps etc to reach my notes.
I know it’s still a “beta” app but I’ve payed for it and find it worrying that after 10days I can’t find ANY information about a resolution.
The issue has been sent to our Linear tracker. We don’t use GitHub in this way.
As you can see from the tags below the title header, this issue is currently being worked on, and we hope to fix it soon.
@Filip any update on this? Not an ETA but just an update, it’s very frustrating to not being able to use the application to its full potential due to a bug.
Hi, thanks for highlighting the issue — it really exists, and I was able to reproduce it on my own account. After a fresh install, I observed some untitled objects appearing in both Queries and Widgets for about an hour, and then they disappeared (for example, they don’t show up on desktop).
We’re currently investigating this problem. My assumption is that these are ghost objects — items that were deleted, but since our system is distributed, empty objects with only IDs were still coming through the Middleware via subscription. Our client-side fix will be to simply hide these ghost objects.
We’ll do our best to resolve this issue ASAP. Sorry for the delay in fixing it.
