Remote MCP - Via CLI or an "official" route

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Ability to access the MCP remotely so that You can connect assistants etc to it.
Just to clarify: I don’t mean the API, that can be done using the Anytype-CLI but it’s not hosting the mcp server with auth. Which means for my specific use case, I’m sure there are others, that I can’t connect Claude via my phone or web to Anytype.

HOW COULD IT BE DONE?

It could be integrated via Anytype-CLI so that you have to selfhost it, that won’t increase any cost for “Any” and the user that wants it can host it themselves.

Hey! You want MCP Server over HTTP, and it is implemented in this PR. You will need to tinker with the network settings to get it working and accessible from anywhere on your phone.

Very late reply: For the total noob, how does it work authentication wise?

I would love that in the CLI version of anytype, so I can self host and release AI agents.
