Not sure how easy this would be, but it would be nice to have the option to generate random sentences or options.
For example: If I have a page full of quotes, it would be nice if I can insert “random” into my journal template so that when I open a new one each day a random quote from my list is inserted into the new journal entry.
Or if I wish to learn One new word each day, I can have a page where I enter all the words I want to learn and from there my “word of the day” can be randomly generated.
Sure- you could pick a word or quote yourself each day, but sometimes this defeats the purpose.
For instance, my physical journal has a list of “challenges” for each day like “Do 20 push ups” “Write for 25 minutes” “take a cold shower” etc… and part of the exercise is doing it anyway even if you don’t feel like it. In a physical book format you are supposed to do the challenge that is presented that day whether you want to or not to exercise ones “comfort with discomfort” if you will. The unpredictability is part of the exercise.
