Publish to web link not showing queries

WHAT IS THE BUG

When I published a page that included text and an inline query, the text and page information showed, but the inline query is not there at all, it just shows empty space below the text where the query should be.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

Outline the steps needed to reproduce the behavior in sequence:

  1. Create a page

  2. Add text and an inline query

  3. Click ‘publish to web’

  4. ᅟOpen link in browser (I am using Ecosia).

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Publish to web link should display all visible information on the page, including the information from the query. I would like to be able to use this to share specific query information with non-anytype users.

Thank you for your report. It’s been added to our tracker and will be looked into.

I don’t think this can work right now because the publication only applies to the page. The query wouldn’t have the information to display (even if we don’t open the objects displayed in the query, the display depends on them).
This is being considered in the roadmap.

Hey, thanks for reporting this.

What you’re seeing is actually expected for now. Inline queries aren’t currently supported in published pages yet, so they won’t appear in the web version and may show up as empty space.

Support for queries in published pages is something we’re already aware of and looking into, since being able to share query results like this is a really useful use case.
