First, I exported my old notes from the Joplin app, which contains my old notes, as MD-Markdown and MD-Markdown + FrontMatter. Then, I clicked “Import field” in anytype. I tried many different methods each time. I tried Obsidian, Markdown, HTML, TXT, but I can’t select the folder where my notes are located; only the file can be selected.
By the way, I have to select the folder because my notes were hierarchically organized in my old notepad app, categorized by category. Otherwise, I would have to re-categorize them in this new notepad app, which would waste a lot of time.
I also tried zipping the folder. This time, it put the notes in the collection and imported them as files. So when I click on the notes, a download button appears; they aren’t imported as text notes.
They are imported as files. I think you need pages or something similar to import them as normal notes.
