Permanent navigation links on each page

Hello Users,

Let’s say i want to design many pages, and want each page to have a navigation bar, basically links to other pages be always there… something similar to what you see on web pages…

Best way is to create template with links, or is there any other better suggestion or design guideline to follow to implement this ? I understand we can also ping pages, but want to keep pinned section for specific pages as needed.

Thanks

I suggest to use an Inline Query.
Give al the Objects that you want to link to a specific Tag. Then apply a filter to the Query that looks for that Tag.

You can make a two column layout in your Page where the Inline Query is in one of the columns. And its View is so configured that you see only the name (title) of the linked Objects.

Thank You. This works. Is there a way to learn more about page layouts, such that i can divide the whole page into 2 columns ? I am able to drag and drop to create 2 column layout. I just wanted to learn more about layouts if there is more to it than drag and drop

There are two different link style: Cmd+Shift+K on existing texts, and @mention. @object will include the original object with object’s icon. Drag the block to right will separate columns for the relevant blocks and adjust align to right will help assist the understanding of previous or next objects. There is no way to separate the whole page though

Navigate between objects of a set should help navigation if the objects are included in collection.

Love your video, very helpful. is there a cheatsheet for all shortcuts or such features? I find the documentation to be bit limited.

You can find all shortcuts in Anytype’s help menu.
It is in the main menu (the top menu) in the section “Help / Shortcuts”.

My video shows another way where you also can find in in version 0.54.2
