What’s The Bug?

Opening a new window does not work. The new window is stuck on the start screen saying “AnyType and the version number”

How To Reproduce It

  • Open AnyType
  • Go to Window → New Window
  • Observe the new window never getting past the splash screen saying “AnyType and the app version number”

@Razor It works again now. Thanks a lot!

It would be nice, if the window would open the object immediately without showing the black screen and the Anytype version first for a few seconds. Is this needed to load something in the background?

Suggestion:

  • how about only showing the black loading window when we newly open the first Anytype window
  • any additional window should then open immediately

Please do not write feature requests as comments to bug reports, create new post. No one will remember this comment tomorrow and new feature requests are tailored to the pipeline of our internal task tracking.

I have removed the preloader logic for child windows so now they open much faster.
