YES TO COMPACT LIST IN WIDGETS !
First layer of content is just fine and enough !
I want to see more than just a link, but not a tree structure that goes deep to the bottom of it !
Details shouldn’t appear in the navigation bar, but WITHIN the notes (like explained here by @Alejandro Allow sticky table of contents block (for quickly navigating between page sections) - #2 by Angelo, showcasing the way Dropbox does it)
