Modal open, open preferences, all blank

What’s The Bug?

when in a modal window (new note, opens in a popup) and open the preferences the modal window gets blank and the preferences don’t open

How To Reproduce It

  • “open objects in fullscreen” is disabled
  • create a new note so a new modal window opens
  • hit CMD+, to open the preferences
  • See that the modal window is blank, still open and the preferences don’t show up

I can reproduce that behavior also with version 0.46.16-alpha.
I would never have found this bug, because I would hardly have wanted to go to the preferences via shotcut when I had a modal window open.

My teacher once said: press every random button on the keyboard, click randomly everywhere you can. if your app breaks, it’s a bug. So I wanted to see if the QA of anytype improved lately :smiley:

This seems to be fixed with version 0.46.17-alpha.
