What’s The Bug?
I am writing to report a missing feature in the latest version of the desktop application that was previously very useful.
How To Reproduce It
In prior versions, when opening an object in a separate window, there was a convenient button located in the upper-left corner that allowed the user to “Open object in full window” (or similar wording).
In the current version, 0.51.2, this button is no longer present.
I sincerely hope I am not the only user who heavily relied on this feature. I would appreciate it if you could reincorporate this functionality.
It is very frustrating to now have to always open the object in full-screen mode when often only a quick glance is needed before returning to the main object view. The previous behavior of having a dedicated full-window button was much more efficient for this workflow, as it is not the same as constantly toggling the full-screen view.
The Expected Behavior
The previous button was essential for the following workflow:
When I open an object, I can quickly review it, and if I decide to continue working on it, I press the ‘full window’ button and make it the main focus.
The ability to quickly transition from a brief review to dedicated work is crucial, and constantly toggling the full-screen view is not the same as the dedicated full-window transition previously provided.
