List all tasks related to a given project template

Hello,

Is it possible to automatically add the list of all the tasks related to a given project? The tasks have the “Linked Projects” property. Can this be done inside a template?

The best I was able to do was to generate a query after the creation of a project. However, I don’t know if it is a good idea to have as many queries as the number of projects, as they may increase during time.

This should be possible, I am assuming in the next version: Self-pointing placeholder filter in templates - #43 by Razor

That would be fantastic. But how will it work?

I think it will be a template of an inline query, where for example:

filter → tasks that link to project1

will be

filter → tasks that link to “current object”

When that template will be inserted into a real object, the “current object” will be replaced with… the current object!
