Describe the bug
Exporting a page to markdown with “Include linked objects” misses out few linked objects from the exported markdown. i.e, Linked object(s) are not exported
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to any object with several linked objects
Export the object to markdown with “Include Linked Objects” option enabled
Open the exported markdown and check if all the Linked objects from Anytype are available in the exported markdown
Expected behavior
All the linked objects to be properly exported and referenced in the exported markdown
The issue was added to our issue tracker some months ago. Priority is low for the time being, but when we get around to polishing we’ll buff it out. Thanks for bringing it to our attention
I opened up a similar bug about losing Relations when you export to markdown.
The Anytype team might consider increasing the priority of these bugs for two reasons:
This is data loss. Data loss should be avoided at all costs.
Export (without data loss) builds confidence. I’m excited for Anytype, but leery of really trying it out because, at the moment, anything I put into it I’m SURE won’t come out in usable format. I will lose work (connections/links) and get a pretty poor set of data in the end. I can’t back up, I can’t use in other apps, and create workflows around it, etc.
