Linked object from relation does not appear

Hi, I‘m quite new to Anytype and created some data to see how it works. I created a type Plant with a template. In that template I have a relation of type Object with type Plant.

The relation is called bad neighbors and I linked other objects of type plant. (So when I’m in the object tomato I linked potato as bad neighbor).

I expected that when I link potato as bad neighbor in the object tomato that tomato would appear as bad neighbor in the potato object but it does not. When I add it manually, it links.

So my question is, am I missing something or is it not possible that it automatically links?
I appreciate any answer since it would help me a lot!

Backlinks feature has also been implemented some time ago, and your linked objects should appear in the features relations section of your objects.

You can also combine this feature with inline sets to get a proper set view of all of your linked objects.

Or maybe you’re looking for something like Automatic Bi-directional linking + Rollups?
