Inline Set in Android not in Sync

Hi,
I looked everywhere in the community for a hint/match about. Maybe I overlooked some post.
So would be great if someone could check if this is not doubled.

WHAT IS THE BUG

I created a new Page and therein I

  • created a new «Inline Set».
  • Then added new Views
  • and changed the Names of the views.
  • Then Set Filters
  • defined some Sorts for each of them
  • and defined settings to hide and show particular Relations.

All is fine on Mac OS, and also is in Sync with Win.

In Android, the «Inline Set» is also in place.
When I open it, there are also the right objects in it.

BUT

  1. The Views are not in Sync,
  2. Also the Names are different (like if I had create a new «Inline Set» → The Views and all the Names are on default-values.
  3. The filter are not in sync with Mac OS and Win.
  4. The Sort is not in sync.
  5. The settings in are also not in Sync.

HOW TO REPRODUCE IT

I created a new «Inline Set» with the same Set. And there in Mac OS, Win and Android all default Views, Names, Filters, Sorts and Settings are in Sync.
When I change in Mac OS the Name from a particular View: The Win is after a few moments in sync, but Android is still the old «Default» Named.
Vice Versa: When I click on «Edit» on Android and change the View’s Name, it is fine for Android,
BUT NO NameChange in Mac OS nore Windows.

THE EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I would expect a change is in all OS in Sync. In Mac OS + Win + Android

SYSTEM INFORMATION

Mac OS Big Sure
Anytype Version: 0.31.0

Windows 10
Anytype Version: 0.31.0

Android 13
Anytype Version: 0.14.0-alpha

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT TO EDIT Sort, Filter, Properties-columns sorting.

There seams to be more problems/open task to use «Inline Set» under Android.
I found also problems

  • to DELETE a View
  • to EDIT (RE-ORDER and DELETE) the properties in Sort.
  • to EDIT (RE-ORDER and DELETE) the properties in Filter.
  • to EDIT (RE-ORDER) the properties in Settings to change the Sort in the Columns.

NEXT STEP/QUESTION

Maybe this all is/Are not a bug(s), only Android App is not made final in this point.
Would be great to get some information about.

If this is not a bug, and someone could confirm it is the normal behaviour, then I would change the needed Stuff (View/Name/Filter/Sort/Settings) for Android only.

But would be awkward to do it though and then end up shooting up the inline sets in Mac and Win as a result.

Looking forward to any help, information or Link to a documentation if I would have to do some stuff different (also for the ADDITIONAL CONTEXT Part).

Best regards
Martin

I have the same issue with the iOS and PadOS versions. It seems to behave exactly as you describe.

Hey, you are right that this is not a bug. It’s a feature, or lack of one. Inline set views aren’t synced with their source set views. Also, on Android, inline sets aren’t supported at all, and the button you click on actually opens the source set. That’s why the views are different on desktop and Android.
